Enrichment Programs: Ballet
Preschool and Kinder Ballet classes are offered by San Diego Dance Academy for children 3 – 6 years old. The classes are unique among children’s introductory ballet classes. The classes are fun and make learning dance a truly creative experience that benefits the child’s coordination, musicality, and expressiveness. The Ballet classes develop a creative dance experience and introduces structure and discipline in the young dancer. From first and second body positions, the students progress to learn all five body positions – the knowledge of these positions is the foundation of ballet.
